The USE XCR seatpost was my choice after reading several magazine reviews, I also found that is was the most widely available and a respected piece of kit by a respected company.
This post is a must for Aluminum hardtails like myself, I ride a Rockhooper A1 and since I've had it I can ride for much longer and remain comfortable. Because my bike frame it is so stiff it is an essential accessory giving the rider a much more comfortable ride, giving enough travel to get rid of the small hits and soften the larger ones.
I have had no problems with it, it is easy to maintain, adjustable, reasonably priced and doesn't twist left to right like some suspension seatposts have a reputation for doing. It lacks saddle angle adjustment to a degree and I found fitting the saddle to be a tricky job but these are just minor quibbles.
In summary the USE XCR Setpost does what it's supposed to do well and is light, sturdy, easy to maintain at the same time, I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of buying a suspension seatpost.
