This product is one of the Offroad Adventures - Online top 10 products of 2000 because it is a top quality product and does its job extremely well.
As with most Karrimor products it is well designed for a specific purpose, this sac is MTB specific and this is apparent by the fact that it has a shock cord holder for a helmet, a pouch in the back of the sac for a hydration system and ample padding.
I have used this sac on a number of long day rides and shorter rides too and it is ideal for both. With a 20 Litre capacity it may be considered a little small for multi day epics, but if you can resist taking non-essentials and don't need to take a tent or sleeping bag you should find it adequate for a two-day ride.
The sac has two adequate main pockets, one smaller upper one with useful pouches for tool kits and mobile phones and a larger compartment which I use for clothing items, camera, maps and snacks. Each compartment has double zips allowing you to open it in any direction.
The fully adjustable waist, chest and shoulder straps are very well designed and the all important reflective strips allow you to feel safer when riding on road with it after dark. The bright yellow waterproof cover that folds out from inside the sac is effective in waterproofing the bag and its contents is all but the most severe weather, it is also equipped with reflective strips.
All in all it is a very well designed and made day sac from Karrimor and well worth considering if you are in need of a good day sac.
