A super reliable engineered and plush coil and oil suspension forks. There are no nasty plastic bits and the construction is bombproof. Very stiff laterally they are active over the bumps and offer 80mm of travel. The seals are good and maintenance is easy. Preload on both springs and an oil rebound damper in one leg. Smart looking in black or red. The Sport comes with a steel steerer, weight fiends should buy the Atom Race which uses an alloy steerer which is 4 ounces lighter.
The only disadvantage of these forks is they are rather weighty, but I would put up with that as these aren't going to break in the wilderness. Ideal Trail rider XC fork. I now ride twice as fast down the tech stuff as I used you with my basic Manitou Spyders.
